I was there for Jimmy Glass, one of the main images you can see my mate who came with me but some bigger lad is in front of me lol Did you drop a tab of LSD before the game, Alf? Would explain some of your opinions

Would explain some of your opinions My you're obsessed with this Alf, you seem to just want to mention him in every post, more weird behaviour, you're bordering on the unhealthy tbh. As for the image, I think the joke isn't hard to understand for anybody with a brain cell, though LSD would have made this season more manageable.

I was there. Resigned to the inevitable, then up comes Jimmy for the corner. The rest is history.

I was there. A stressful afternoon, which seemed likely to end badly. The pre-smart phone days of relying on someone nearby giving updates via the radio. It was agony that the hope never completely went away because both games were always in the balance. I remember Tony Hopper was in tears when he was substituted. The team were giving their all but struggling. It seemed somewhat cruel that we knew the Scarborough game had ended and then we got that corner. Too much to bear , to hope we might score. Then in a few crazy moments everything changed. The thing I remember is seeing the reaction from those old buggers that dwell in the Paddock, that rarely show emotion , buzzing with excitement and joy. I’m glad I was there.

If you didn’t qualify then, you probably do now, as do I.

I was there.
We'd moved down to the front of the Warwick, and I'd given up. Sat down on the terrace, waiting for the seemingly inevitable relegation. Dragged myself back to my feet for the corner, and everything after that is a bit of a blur. Couldn't see who'd scored, and still struggle to comprehend that it happened. I do remember the steward stepping aside as we spilled on to the pitch, and walking back down Warwick Road to the station in an absolute daze.
