Mullen will lure them all to his Corned Beef Hash festival near Lazonby… There were rumours of hash festivals in and around Lazonby back in the late nineties and early 2000s. (I can neither confirm nor deny their existence)

That could be a reason for his plummet in concentration and form.

That could be a reason for his plummet in concentration and form. Swings and roundabouts He was only 5’9 before he started going round Mullen’s for his tea

An article in the N&S taken from an interview in an Irish newspaper in which a deluded Sean Maguire complains that Simmo played him on the wing rather than as a no.9 which was his preferred position, or failing that a no.10. He's waiting for his wife to give birth before he decides what to do but says he's talking to clubs in Ireland and England but nothing close to his home in Preston. So even Bamber Bridge don't want him!! www.newsandstar.co.uk/sport/24316529.carlisle-united-style-play-didnt-suit-says-forward/

Hopefully all goes well for them next month. As for the style of play, did we have one? He's complaining about being played on the right of a front 3 but we also often played 532. Colman wrote an excellent article which put it much better than I could about us developing a style/identity. www.newsandstar.co.uk/sport/24309935.repairing-carlisle-united-2024-25-not-just-signings/
