Anybody any idea how far he is off returning? Only just back on Grass so probably still several week, although he seems recovering at a massive rate "What's the difference between grass and astroturf" If you know you know.

Club Captain, but we've had nowt from him since..? Staying, or going? Conspicuous by his absence.

Think he’s focusing on his rehab and trying to get back ready to play again - can’t really knock Wyke for being invisible when he hasn’t played since October. It would however have been nice to see Sam Lavelle speak after featuring in the majority of the games for the last 2 years.

I'd like Wyke to stay because you'd expect him to be a real goal threat at National League level, but if we need to cut down on the wage bill then I wouldn't be that devastated if he left after barely featuring this season and we now have Kelly back who's a very similar striker and younger. It would just be a shame for Wyke because we expected him to have a big impact when we brought him back here but that never happened, even before his injury he seemed to struggle.

Remember some of our fans have no common sense, . And some spend most of their time on here needlessly trying ( and usually failing) to belittle others. It's never needles, it's just those who often lack the common sense most frequently don't like to be told and therefore feel that when they are questioned on it don't like in this case . For exactly the very comment this thread is relating too in which case several posters have called out the poster for lacking a bit of thought . As stated , to call a player a sick note because a player slid from behind with a high foot is utterly ridiculous. I know I'm a bad speller , and I know I am arrogant , people can call me that all they want.

I really hope that Wyke is still with us next season. He could prove vital, if you think we might possibly bounce back so quickly.
I still remember him hitting the bar at Gillingham on the first game of the season from quite far out. It loudly vibrated. That man undoubtedly still has the power. He just needs to score a few, then the confidence would return.
