Everton’s finances are in such a mess that they may have to sell JB, especially if they are relegated. I don’t think any top European clubs will be interested in Keane, Tarkowski, Coleman or Patterson. Those 4 may be better suited to Championship hoofball than Branthwaite oddly enough.

Everton not taking up the Option on Conor Coady’s Loan Deal. Yerry Mina is also Out of Contract.
Leaves Tarkowski, Godfrey, Holgate and Keane in the CB positions. Be interesting to see if any move on, then where Branthwaite finds himself in the pecking order…

Will be wanting another Ben Mee type alongside Tarkowski.

Or a sale of JB whilst his stock is rising, and interest is aplenty, could fund a couple of new signings in other areas for Everton?

A sale to the highest bidder is the most probable due to the financial crisis at Goodison. They'll need all the money they can get in order to entice free transfer targets. They only have Jarred, Pickford and Onnana who are saleable assets.

Heard today, and it’s supposedly come from a good source, that Roma are ready to go to £20m for Branthwaite, and we have an initial 10% sell-on clause, which may rise to as much as 25% based on appearances, international caps, etc. He enjoyed his time abroad last season so he’s more than willing to go abroad again.

I really don't get why Everton are selling him now (not that I'm complaining). In a few years with another loan or consistent game time in the league he'll be worth at least double that. Levi Colwill, another left footed ball playing CB is worth at least 80m to Chelsea.

Good points Kicker, I think it might be more a case of them needing the cash to fund the multiple signings needed to improve the team though. He does on paper look like a Dyche style of player but I guess he might think if he can bring 3/4 players in with the money raised it could be worth selling him now while there’s interest. Having said all this I’ve only seen word of him being sold on them useless transfer rumour pages so far so I’ll believe it if/when it happens! Fingers crossed though… if him, Henderson and possibly Trafford from City all go this summer we could be in dream land!!
