We deserve nothing more. Awful stuff against an average side. 3 games without scoring. It's fading away. Got to ask questions of Simpson's selection today - absolutely no justification for dropping McCalmont, and the first half demonstrated that. We look out of ideas, and out of gas. Patrick should be nowhere near the starting xi next week, and we need to have Fin Back returning. Senior hasn't managed to find his feet, his attacking quality seems to have disappeared. Agree with everything said there Moonie. No one deserved anything today but they've nicked a winner.

Last time we failed to score for 3 games, we went on to win the next 4. Am I clutching at straws?
Think we missed Huntington's experience at the back today, and perhaps his absence has put the shackles on Mellish's forward play. I don't think rotating the strikers is working either.

The conspiracy theorists who say we can’t afford promotion, don’t want to go up etc etc will take great credit in that game as WTF was that!!
It’s the worst game of the season by far, well maybe the Mansfield catastrophe but this seemed worse somehow.
You’d take play offs but prior to these 3 games we were on fire and now suddenly look poor.

Reality is starting to hit home now.

Let's not get too despondent. Today was awful, but we're a point behind the automatic places with 24 points still on the table.
A bit more drive and determination from the lads and we can still be in the mix (a little bit of quality might help too).

We seem to struggle when teams are organised and hard to beat. The last 3 games it’s been clear from minute one that we weren’t scoring.
Do we lack a bit of creativity to trouble in form sides? Do our wing backs offer enough going forward to test the better defences in the division?
Gillingham are down there, but they are one of the top teams since the turn of the year. Our record against the teams actually at the top end of the table supports this as well.

God that was painful, only Gibson was able to hold the ball and find a man. The times we gave the ball away were a disgrace. First 10 minutes, where was Guy, didnt know he was on the pitch. Team selection was a disgrace, dont know what that was all about. Plus stupid fouls when challenging for the ball, just gave them possesion. Very very poor.

I'm normally 'Simmos' biggest fan, however I think he got it totally wrong today, dropping McCalmont after his very encouraging display at Bradford didn't make any sense to me, we seemed to be totally overrun in midfield especially in the first half. Also I couldn't understand the logic in bringing back Gordon after so many weeks on the sidelines. Anyway all is not lost in our quest for 'world domination', a decent result at Orient, I'm sure' will open it back up for us. Disappointed but not too downhearted. COYB

Does anyone actually think we’ll get the win at Orient, based on what we’ve seen over the last 3 games?

Does anyone actually think we’ll get the win at Orient, based on what we’ve seen over the last 3 games? Well we won there last year, and after the disgraceful refereeing performance and Orient's antics at Mecca, I can see us getting something!!!! I'm sure the lads will be well up for it. Always optimistic me you know, LOL!!!!

I think Patrick will be more suitable to start in a game against Orient. I would have left him out today along with Moxon, ready for the run in. Orient will be more open and I think Patrick could catch them on the break. I think the main problem Simmo has now is that he has too many options.

We deserved nothing from the game, apart from a brief period when Gibson came on and put a bit of spark in , we were awful. Bad day at the office from Simmo and the players . A weeks rest then a massive game .

Selection in the forward area is difficult, none are pulling up trees at present. It could be too much rotation is the issue with nobody getting a continuous run. Simmo tried 3 forwards from the start today and it didn’t work.
