Genuinely, all criticism and football matters aside, I hope Big Tom is well health wise. Just watched his pre-game message and he looks as grey as a badger, poor bloke. Feels a bit odd a Cumbrian saying this but he needs some sun on those cheeks and a facial would do his skin the world of good. A spa day seems definitely in order. Seriously, health comes first and I wish him all the best. Clutching at straws here , I think if we're talking about health.....Maybe you need to look closer to home |

I can't remember the last time there was so much widespread confidence and certainty amongst the fanbase that we're going to win a game of football.
That worries me a little bit. If the players feel like this, over confidence can sometimes lead to complacency.
It would be the most Carlisle United thing ever to go out today, big crowd, nice day, oozing confidence and then lose to a smash and grab one goal defeat from their only shot on goal.
Let's hope the players are on it like they were last week.

Does that include season tickets though? Yes Anything under 9,500 today will be a big disappointment. No TV coverage, sunny day, first game and plenty of confidence after last week. Bring a mate or family member and let’s get over 10k. Hopefully its 7,000 without the season tickets |

I can’t see anything but a comfortable win, they are dreadful and we look professional and like a football team.
Lose and we might as well give up.
Can’t make today so it’ll be an easy win.

Having had most of the optimism crushed out of me over the last two seasons I still see the potential of this team and this season in general.
Even if we don't win today I still reckon we will be the team trying to win it and because of the level we have dropped to we ought to be too much for most teams in this division like Woking found out last week.
This is good news for us fans being able to cheer something for a change, makes me wonder - if we were still in the Football League would this fitter, hungrier team be good enough in the bottom tier?

Nervous for this despite last weeks mostly professional performance we need a few good comfortable wins before i will feel confident going into games
