Big signing.
Wrexham / Harrogate fans are obviously going to say they’re not arsed but he’s been a leading striker in L2 for the last few years.
We need to ensure we give him the service now as he won’t keep us up on his own.
However, so nice to get:
a) a big, marquee signing that most clubs in lower L1 and all of L2 would like
b) it done early, so early he can’t play for 2 weeks, and not last minute.com
c) pay a fee for a permanent signing that has a lot of experience, proven goal scoring record and isn’t a 7/8th option on a list arriving late on loan from a PL club

Incredible, let's hope that it's the start of 5 or 6 new players with the talent and desire to do well in League 1, maybe better.
Time to get that f*ckers name of the East Stand before January too, then we can erase the bad memories from our history.

It feels bizarre to have a January signing more than a month before we would usually have the incomings, and a player we all know who can be a complete nuisance.

Hopefully after a good performance on the weekend, we’re in for a productive few weeks of training along with new faces which all in all helps us turn a corner.

Anyone on here have an idea what the current average weekly League 1 wage is? Would it be around 5k or am I miles off? I'm guessing he'd be our highest wage earner now - would that be right?

I think you are miles off. There may be a handful of players earning that but most will be in the £40-£100k per annum range. |

Next tier 2.5-3.5k per week. Then bottom tier 1.5-2.5k per week. Then Carlisle (pre Piataks) scraping around looking for bargains |
