Apologies if something similar has been mentioned elsewhere but I cannot see it.
Our current success and league position is something to celebrate and credit to the people involved from the club. That said 12 months ago the majority of us had a very different view of the club.
If we are honest with ourselves the appointment of Simmo gave the club the boost it so badly needed and the momentum, and not to mention Simmo's incredible ability to produce a winning team, has propelled us into a position where the memories of the years leading up to it have dimmed somewhat. However if we believe the current owners they are reluctant custodians who would welcome someone else, a person or a group, to come in and take the club forward. Surely with the club hitting the headlines for the right reasons, a growing supporter base and a potential for success in the next 18-24 monts the club is more attractive than previously. Yes the financial challenges remain but it is a better picture. If the current owners are truly reluctant custodians then now would be the time for them to be capatilising on the recent success and looking for a change.
Unless of course they want to be part of the success......

The perfect scenario would be us winning promotion, then Jenks selling/giving the club to a suitable party in the summer. For all the faults of the `BoD, it would be nice for them to go out on the back of some success.
Have we ever had a promotion with AJ at the helm? Seems overdue.
