Garner's crippled a Hartlepoo player with his first tackle, good work son Crunching challenge, not convinced he got the ball first either! He's not changed - getting stuck right in...

Comfortable win. A very good performance, and still get the feeling that there's more to come from this side. Sounded like the ground was bouncing!

Good win and looked comfortable agree that they look as though they have more in them. Good to see such a strong bench.

Fantastic win, made hard work of that at times but our quality shone through. Dennis could well be on for 25-30 league goals, we’re also now top scorers in the division!
They created nothing really (other than Moxon’s lovely through ball).
Garner got absolutely nothing of the ball by the way, classic. Hope the fella isn’t badly injured mind.

It was a dreadful tackle that, presumably he's gone through the standing leg. We played some absolutely sensational stuff in the final third, we should have had 6 really. I think Moxon just got confused which end he was at temporarily.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Garner's tackle, the Hartlepool lad barely had any shinpads on and the boots he was wearing didn't look adequate.
I reckon he underpadded as they knew he was up against Gordon today and they wanted to increase his speed - which comes with risks, as we saw.
Ref got it spot on, fair tackle, unfortunate injury - but that's football.
For Hartlepool's goal all the talk is of Moxon, but a certain experienced defender of ours jumped out of the way of the ball - what was all that about? Huntington just as much to blame as Moxon there.

I don't think cricket pads would have made much difference.
Stop trying to take the glory away from Moxon. Top assist that.

Really was a cracking through ball! Pleased with the way he reacted, didn't let it affect his game at all and he gets a free pass on that as a result.

Looked really good in spells, and we'd be cruising if it wasn't for one mistake - in fairness to Mox he's not had many major mistakes this season - but Hartlepool are still in it. Their number 9 has some quality, and took his goal really well. Gibson, JKG, and Armer the standouts for me in the first 45. To be honest I thought their number 9 was a great big lump.

A good performance by the Blues, thoroughly enjoyed it, a deserved man of the match for Kristian Dennis, followed closely by Guy and Feeny for me, but the whole team played well, we always looked as if we could step up through the gears if the Pools were getting into the game. The atmosphere in the ground was great, a very pleasant evening, onward and upward.

Some of the snowflakes on here have been watching too much Premier League football, obviously.
Football's a contact sport, so expect contact (especially in the tackle). Every touch on an opponent is not necessarily a foul.
Garner's tackle was a good honest, hard tackle. He won the ball, if the Hartlepool player had been wearing proper protection then he wouldn't have been injured. Garner, quite rightly, shouldn't hold back in the tackle because the defender is wearing paper shinpads and boots equivalent to plimsolls.
Re: Senior - see the player ratings thread.

You've not posted on the player ratings thread, as far as I can see! Or are you agreeing with my assessment of his performance tonight?
