And it relates to this thread. I don’t believe you really care though. I have to be honest, I'm really struggling to Either way, Solihull Moors are through to the final after a 4-0 romp at Barnet. They'll play either Bromley or Altrincham (hopefully the latter), who meet tomorrow.

Bromley, Atrincham or Solihull Moors? This is why it should be 1 up 1 down between League Two and National League. Stops these Sunday league pub teams getting a cheap ticket into the football league.

Altrincham were always the club the BBC liked to reel out on their shock FA Cup moments after playing us the highlights of Hereford vs Newcastle.
Here we all were, rubbing our hands in anticipation waiting see the heroes of Sutton playing against Coventry coming up next.

We're doing Altrincham a disservice by calling them a Sunday league pub team.
If any non-league club "deserves" promotion to the football league you could make a great case for them.
They've beaten 17 league sides (including one top flight side) in the FA Cup over the years. They also won the Conference twice in the days before automatic promotion.
They were denied entry to the football league in 1980 (standing for election) due to a bit of corruption. They lost to Rochdale by a single vote, however all the votes were not counted. Grimsby voted for Altrincham but the vote was discounted because the Grimsby representative was "standing in the wrong part of the room". Luton also promised to vote for them, but the Luton representative was deliberately told the meeting started at the wrong time, so arrived after the vote had taken place.

If that were us, I would still be ranting on about it to this very day.

The Donald trump award for alleged election fraud goes to Tim, wig and all . Can you do an episode 2 where you are positive about Carlisle United?

Manchester based players would likely opt to sign for Altrincham rather than us. Saves two hours in the car.
