We are Carlisle UTD. A proper club with proper supporters. A club that's also in the same division as either Bromley or Solihull Moors next season.

Can't stand fans criticising fan bases , it's just not needed , yes Bromley are a small team but doesn't stop them being a real football club, they have earned the right to play at the level they are and compete for a chance of league 2 . For me it gives us hope that if things go well we can compete . We hate It when we get called tinpot by the like of Bradford , Charlton etc , yet we do the same .
If can tell you who i rate as a proper football person the lad who has supported Bromley all their life , than the bellend who goes on about attendances .

Just for context, Chesterfield took 13,000 to the same game last season. Us and Stockport both took 15,000 to a higher league final. Yet this whopper thinks Bromley, a little non-league club, should be taking similar numbers! Stevenage, also in the biggest game in their history, took around 3,000 to Stoke in 2005.

7500 for a taxi journey to London from Bromley. Pathetic Why’s it pathetic? You do realise they haven’t got many fans don’t you? Do you expect them to magic fans up from somewhere? If they take 10,000 to Wembley it’s excellent for a club their size, they hadn’t even played as high as the national league 10 years ago. We took 27k to Wembley the first time, if only they came every week the club might have had some cash to spend.

The real EFL's view on us next season;
After the season that the Cumbrians have had, it comes as no real surprise to see Simpson wanting to get rid of a couple more players to make room for some fresh faces. He’s certainly sent quite the message out to his players, suggesting that he will be ruthless going forward.
It won’t by any means be plain sailing in the fourth tier next season but it currently doesn’t look to be one of the strongest League Two renewals next season with the likes of Stockport County, Wrexham and Mansfield all gaining promotion.
If Carlisle can get their summer recruitment right, then they’ll be one of the favourites for promotion next year, however that is a big ‘if’ based off of this year’s recruitment.

Surely you could say any team might have a good season if they get their summer recruitment right.
Captain Obvious holding the pen there.

Morecambe seem to be on the slope. It's possible Fleetwood could be struggling. Salford team looks out of balance. The owner at Colchester says he won't fund losses. So recruiting should be easier to get right for us

It's difficult to counter that. The only sign is that simpson didn't push Greg under the bus when he was under pressure. Maybe he's better than we imagine

So recruiting should be easier to get right for us Fleetwood like us are stuck with players from last season that they dont want. They are due before the EFL very shortly to answer some pretty serious questions not least of which is where certain amounts of money originated from The problem the EFL have is that they know the minute they press the button and make it official its only going one way so it looks as if its down to the other clubs to force their hand. Morecambe will be very lucky to see the start of next season i was at a forum this week, where the subject of Morecambe was discussed and if things are only half as bad as was described by someone who is without doubt in the know then its life or death for them. Manager jumped ship and the CEO leaves on May 31st.
