It’s Barnet, nailed on! 😂 Well i saw them on Saturday and they wernt anything special. Mind you Halifax were even more of a disappointment, and it looks like they've blown it they should have had 3 of their last four games at home but they played at Accy on Sat and are back here tomorrow and are then playing their last home game at wait for it Chesterfield on Thursday [ no idea why they couldnt have done Accy again as theyre away on Saturday so wouldnt really have affected them]. God knows why theyve done that given the weather forecast this week i.d have just left it at the Shay if it was on they keep the home advantage on a pitch they know or if the ref called it off accept the fine but have the advantage of playing it next week knowing what they need to do to be certain of making the play offs. I.m getting behind Altrincham now. I.ve done the ground before but guess theyd have a lot of work to do to it if they get into the league.

I’ve been to Bromley’s ground a few years ago with my Aldershot mate, when they played them. Looked small, but I think they’ve done some work to get it to 5000.

Must admit, I do enjoy seeing some of these small teams, with poor attendances, getting into the league. It often means an established league side, loses their place, and more often than not, they seem to be Northern sides, but with so many of these tinpot outfits in the league now, it`s certainly shaking things up, from say 20 years ago, if even that long.

Nearly all the smaller Clubs who come in are from the South?
Sutton, Forest Green, Crawley, Dag & Red, Barnet, Cheltenham, Yeovil, Stevenage, Aldershot, Wycombe, Maidstone.
The current last three NL winners in Chesterfield, Wrexham and Stockport are at least what you would deem ‘League’ Clubs returning (And closer to us!)…

I meant most of the sides dropping out of the league were Northern. Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Scunthorpe, Hartlepool, Chesterfield etc. And it`s a lot of tin pot southern sides coming up to replace them, aside from Harrogate. I had a look at the conference table, and looks like boreham wood are in trouble, so them going down, along with forest green, would make me very very happy.

Someone at Gateshead council is going to take one hell of a kicking for this All they had to do was issue a non watertight 10 year lease. Problem solved And theres word now that there might be an issue with Altrincham's ground theyve apparently given assurances that they can rectify it in time should they get promoted but the EFL are just waiting to pounce i understand that the issue was there when the ground was given its grading and they shouldnt really of been allowed to go forward then.

Awful for them and their fans, but I didn’t want them up from a selfish point of view.
Horrible, empty soulless stadium.

What i dont understand is why they didnt go public on it a month ago and got fans to put pressure on local councillors who in turn would have put pressure on the council officers or even better taken the decision away from them
