Delayed coming down to London for no given reason.
Now delayed going back. Driver disappeared for 30 minutes for a break. While he was away the points failed, so stuck in Preston again.
Our fascists can't even make the bloody trains run on time

I’ve had to go to Barrow today on the train and thankfully no issues - it’s a miracle as normally cancelled/delayed or strikes.
They are just terrible nothing works anymore. I’ve been to Europe Italy, Hungary, Spain, Poland, Latvia and used trains there and never had a single issue. It’s nearly everyday here and we pay the most.

Train travel should be nationalised in the UK and Unions made illegal for rail workers.
It should be a service not a profit making exercise.

Apparently, Avanti have offered their drivers huge overtime rates to minimise cancellations and delays on the WCML.
Is it improving the service?
