Tim's position can be summed up as All the players are shite. The manager and coaches are shite. The recruitment team is shite. We'll definitely be relegated next year, that will be shite. The piateks are shite. Paying off the debt is shite. Stadium improvements and training ground upgrades are shite. The fans, with 1 exception, are shite. Everything the club does is shite.
While some of it is true you can't respect a fundamentalist view that starts and ends with its bad. They got us promoted last year. Some of those players could be good L2 players. The rest is a positive, in my view. Let the weed clearance begin in the squad, supported by progress off it.
COYB!!

So the question is which parts can improve and which parts need binned? For me the owners are 100% committed, but not sure they have the knowledge to know what to do about the playing situation. Nixon and Clibbins sitting there like mute clowns with nothing to say. The players a disgrace. The fans magnificent. But the buck stops with Simpson and his comedy staff. Not a clue and need to go.

Thanks to Simpson we have had the worst home season in United's history. At least he broke one club record this season! Why is he still the manager?

I always try to find the positives but I’m struggling today. Not one player was any less bad than the rest today. No one even gave a four out of ten performance. Absolutely abject. Players who made a promising start when signed have dropped off alarmingly. I’m worried about next season. I think we should change the manager.

I'm really worried this poor losing momentum will carry on into the start of next season and we'll struggle because we stuck with the same management and coaching staff.
As much as I respect what Simpson has done for our club, I think he has to go because something really isn't right in that dressing room and it surely can't all be just about us not being ready for L1 this season.
I hope he does turn it around in the summer but I'm feeling skeptical after todays match.

What a load of bollocks that was.
Their first goal was created from a mistake by us, a mis-placed header back to Lewis caused the corner and Lewis was flapping away as usual as it was fired in.
Our goal was nicely created and executed - maybe McCalmont has finally found his tipple in The House Of Vodka.
We didn't bother turning up in the second half, don't even think that we had a shot apart from the keeper catching Gibson's free kick, worst of all Wycombe hardly broke a sweat and were merely above average themselves - the sort of team we would be beating had we been half decent.
If Holy got binned for that Cheltenham goal then the same fate should be applied to our defenders today - just boot the thing out of play!! but no we send it goalbound instead to set up their player.
A boot needed putting right through the drum in the Wycombe end, what a din.
We worked damned hard for that promotion last season and to see us not even fight to stay up is heartbreaking really, every other team wanted it far more than we did and it was visible to see, perhaps we were wrong with the fitness analysis maybe it was the desire and heart they lacked.
Nearly the same story for home games these days but they just couldn't be arsed today which is pretty offensive to the loyal crowd.

I don’t think Lavelle should play for us again. For his sake and ours.
Its as much a mental thing as ability I’m convinced. He’s done it in league 2 before, but he isn’t doing it here, never going to happen. His confidence is shot, there’s no recovering. He needs a fresh start elsewhere.
It reminds me a bit of Mike Edwards, in the way that no matter what he does nothing is going right for him here there’s no turning it around. He just needs that move to have a reset for his career.

In no way did this impact on the result but I’ll have a final twine about an official this season. The paddock side linesman literally fist pumped their manager after he gave them a throw in during the first half. He then gave them a throw in on three separate occasions when the ball was clearly not out of play. To finish off he gave them a throw in when everyone in the ground could see it had taken a massive deflection off their player right in front of him.
I’m not saying if we had been given those four throw ins the result would’ve been different mind.

Another game that we have scored in and had we not conceded after would have picked up a point. Why on earth was that defence not strengthened in January? Scoring has not been fluid but the goals conceded is what's cost us this season.

Different game but the same old shit. Wycombe had four or five regular starters sitting on the bench but as munchy said they barely broke a sweat and had a comfortable win. They didn't need too of course when you get two goals handed on a plate to you.
I'd like to know how many goals have been conceded this season through our own ridiculuos mistakes. I can't see this team being in the top half next season and fear this momentum will carry on but the only way it's going to change is by a change of manager.
Simpson Out!
