Average Away support at BP is approx 800 this Season.
Average Away support for us is just shy of 1000, until Saturday which will pop us just over.
Superb…

Only Bradford ,Notts County ,Chesterfield possibly Barrow.Doncaster pending promotion, will bring any sort of numbers . Therefore the 800 average will likely half .

If we can get this kind of support, both home and away, in what has been a bloody awful season, then when we make it back into L1, and with some momentum, and hopefully being able to challenge at the top, then we are surely going to be seeing plenty of 5 figure crowds at home, and a lot of sellouts for away games.
Which is going to make being a fan, so much fun with how much backing, a good Carlisle side can generate.

We got 10k against Fleetwood and I don't think it would have been unrealistic to assume we could have averaged near that figure if we'd had a good season. Attendances and enthusiasm have understandably dropped. We need a good start to next season to build them back up again.
