So far this season we have had the following staff members leave the club -
Andy Hall - Media Colin Nixon - Kitman Simon Friel - Academy manager Dave Timmins - GK coach Chris Brunskill - Head physio Debbie Huddart - Commercial sales manager
Seems like quite a high turnover for one season. Is this just a coincidence, is it the Piataks coming in and wanting higher standards, or does this hint at some kind of issue behind the scenes? Be interested to see what others think.

There's been a lot more noise behind the scenes this year, rumours of people falling out with Simmo have been common. Could be just because the team is doing so poorly (which always causes issues like this where nobody is happy at their work) or it could be an issue.
If they're falling out because Simmo or the Piataks have high standards and doesn't believe they're being met, then that could be the source of fallings out, and I'd be happy to see them go. But it could be a sign that Simmo is abrasive or difficult to work with, and is a detriment to the club at this point.
It's annoying, and most on here won't believe it, but we honestly won't know until next season starts probably, when we see the replacements and whether they're up to snuff. (Sorry bedwetters!)

Andy Hall - Media (area we have been desperate to improve on, would be high on priority list for Piataks so possibly jumped before been pushed) Colin Nixon - Kitman (Was always leaving at the end of the season, just hope his brother is joining him on the golf course) Simon Friel - Academy manager (Area requiring improvement) Dave Timmins - GK coach (Horror show this season and definitely need better for next season) Chris Brunskill - Head physio (Not exactly been a good season for injury's has is, how many times was "he's a couple of weeks away trotted out? Debbie Huddart - Commercial sales manager there will be huge pressure to sell the new space next season, possibly not wanting all that additional pressure?
What's essential is we bring in better into those rolls as they are all vital for success bar possibly the kit man. Change in ownership will always rock the boat, let's hope we get the right people in.

From what I’ve heard there may be a few mitigating circumstances. Did Nixon not retire? Brunskill’s wife had twins I think and he left to spend more time with them. Whilst it may not all be the fault of Timmins, the standard of goalkeeping this season doesn’t reflect well on him. Friel came from Aldi and the standard of the Academy hasn’t been great under his tenure. The biggest loss came last summer with Paul Gerrard leaving, there was definitely a fall out leading to his departure.

To say simmo has high standards can’t be the case judging by this season, and same goes for the Piataks if they had high standards simmo would have surely been gone by now

They are currently sticking with Simmo out of loyalty, plus his track record of getting us promoted three times.

Really happy to hear they`re moving things about on the staff side of it, but as well as replacing all of them, I hope they also add to them, and strengthen each dept.
We have the money, and ambition behind us, so no reason we shouldn`t be looking at having on of the best setups in leagues 1&2.

I thought previous discussions were that the minions were unhappy with Simpson junior?
The additional staff in coaching, data, physio are all very welcome. Badly need them

The turnover of staff behind the scenes and the treatment of some players in the squad seems indicative of personnel (man) management. The club will be like any organisation, if you have a bad atmosphere it impacts on everybody, and people who might be 50/50 about staying suddenly start leaving, similarly if you are looking to join a company and you hear of issues behind the scenes then you look elsewhere... I would imagine football is a very small world and word will spread quickly, that might explain our lack of quality recruitment in January.... certainly if you look at the treatment of Huntington, Holy, Whelan and Gibson then you would wonder whether you should commit to a club in a relegation battle brought about by management failings...
