Well there appears to be a wheel off down at BP given the turnover of backroom staff, that has to fall to one person. Like others I am worried that if the recruitment is poor again, we end up with a poor squad and then have to wait for a change of management and the infamous Jan window once again! Simmo has worked miracles before, however based on this season alone, the results would of got any manager sacked more than once. He alluded to the fact he has been too sentimental in his dealings with players and that would now come to an end, maybe as supporters we have done the same thing with him although I think that is now falling away.
I dont want to hear about how it takes time to bond new players whilst we are losing games in the new season, ten games in, if we are not top 3 and we are only getting mixed results then it is time to go, we have had the shittest season on record for losses and I have found it hard to believe the attitude and performances of some of our players. If we dont see at least 18 players on the release/tranfer list tomorrow I will be disappointed

He in conjunction with his team has identified and signed them. He’s now happy to throw them under the bus and abdicate responsibility for their performances. I accept that they are not good enough but it’s about time he told us why he’s not accepting responsibility for the shambles that he’s absolutely culpable for and what he’s going to do differently in the summer to make sure it doesn’t happen again. I won’t hold my breath.

The danger is , that we let Simpson use the investment badly ,and we turn into the new Salford . The plan of letting him bring in the new players ,and if we aren't in the top tear by 10 games is massively flawed. He's either good enough or he ain't . I'm still of the opinion that regardless of how the last 2 seasons have gone. He still hasn't improved 1 player ?

The body language of the players has been poor all season. We’ve had some crap teams over the years, but you can often find pleasing things in adversity, the honour of an inferior side scrapping away when up against it and enjoying small victories along the way. This season has just been miserable, feeble showing in on game, then the next , no better, no reaction, just nothing.

Hence why I put “pointswise” right at the very start. Change the title then, it's wrong Sensationalising and simplifying the headline before explaining fully in the article is pretty standard. So, no.

Cheltenham didn't score in their first 11 games this season amassing a total of one point where as we accrued 8 pts. By 46 games they scored the same amount of goals but finished 14 pts ahead of us.
They were practically down by 11 games but at least they made a fight of it, we just went down in a whimper.

Is there a special dancing seal happy clapper ceremony to celebrate total ineptness of this year...awards to be presented by the club darlings Nixon and Jenkins ?
