The clock is ticking on Tranmere they are day by day closer to administration. The takeover is ever closer to collapse. Today was a huge win for us, an epic comeback win, we can still catch Tranmere, we must not give up!

What a load of bollox this is.
We are not going into administration, our takeover will be complete next week and even if it wasn't we still would be going into administration.
Enjoy the national league 👍🏻😁

TR have been trying to make the club break even, without success. They are being financed by the bloke who used to own Port Vale

There's a disturbing trend on social media. A handful of Tranmere fans are giving it large now that they've dragged themselves out of the mire. A real shame, as most of them are humble, and decent crack. Funny how moving off the bottom appears to have given their minority the confidence to come out giving it large.
'Enjoy the national league' - words that may well come back to haunt you, kid. Like us, you've been there before.
Oh, and thanks for your contribution. I've already made it clear that those who come on here to gloat over our misfortune can, quite frankly, **** right off.

Norman Smurthwaite 'is' financing us at the moment, but he's not taking over. Palios had a loan with Allied Irish but they stopped taking business loans, so he was buggered and up sh1t creek without a paddle unless he found an alternative to get us to the takeover completion - Norm's his mate and he's stepped in. As bad as his Vale reputation rightly is, it sounds like we have a fair bit to thank him for as we probably 'would' have been facing not paying the players had he not done so and lost some points, risking our league status and takeover. The takeover is still very much on and may even be done after the season ends.
The OP is probably, almost certainly, one of our lot on a wind up (his other posts are about Luke McGee coming to Carlisle in the January window), so the initial respondent has bitten to another Tranmere fan.
Saturday, well wouldn't a pair of away wins be marvellous? You finish Morecambe off for us, and we leave Accrington vulnerable to a Cumbrian great escape that would make a Mr James Glass blush. Degsy Adams the celebration cop and Andy Holt the great pontificator on club ownership going down instead would be bliss.
Touch wood and all that!

Had a good bit of banter with some of your fans the last couple of times you've come up here, hoping (though not expecting) that can be repeated next season.

Tranmeres takeover has collapsed. They have a small handful of days to be rescued by someone waiting in the wings or else they’re gonna be dropping out the league. Todays win was huge, we still have hope of staying up!
