In the UK I'd plump for chicken, bacon, mushroom and black olive - but the bacon here doesn't work.
On this side of the pond I'm partial to a Mexican (Baja scented chicken, green peppers and truffle kissed tomatoes), a BBQ chicken, cheddar and broccoli effort or a Maraki (banana peppers, jalapenos, capicoli, tomato, pineapple).
There's a pizza shop in the area which does a $1000 pizza with lobster, caviar etc. The toppings are so extravagant you need a special box for it. Definitely worth checking out if you come over for the World Cup in 2026...

Went to a place in Brooklyn I came across on Instagram last month - “Ace’s Pizza”. They do “Detroit Style” square pizza. Seriously good. The shop has a proper retro 80’s theme, Knightrider was on the screens! They also have a shop at The Rockerfeller Centre now which is a tad easier if folk are ever in NYC. Deffo worth trying! www.acespizzaspot.com/

Aldi sweet chilli chicken, less than £2, will do for me. Wait a minute... How on Earth do you produce a "chicken" pizza, package it, transport it, sell it for that price and still make a profit? What exactly are you eating?

like I said it looks nicer than that, I wouldn't eat that Mexican for anything. tomatoes look uncooked and somebody has jizzed all over it, it doesn't look appealing in the slightest. I will take a picture on friday - pizza day, but it looks pretty much like the box photo tbh sourdough base as well Not just yours either that picture from ccu looks disgusting as well.

Not just yours either that picture from ccu looks disgusting as well. Believe me Alf, the taste far outweighed the look! Cheesy Garlic Bread was elite tier too…

Cheesy Garlic Bread was elite tier too… It would almost have to lol tbf it looks like they just dumped some stuff on top of the pizza It reminds me of a schnitzel I had in a German cafe in Spain, huge thing nearly the size of the plate, got the spicy one and all the chile and peppers etc was just slammed on top without a care in the world but it was fantastic to eat.

The tomatoes are indeed fresh Alf, you divvy.
They cook the Baja chicken with cheese and green peppers (tomato sauce on the base) then sprinkle the fresh tomatoes and add sauce after cooking.
Since when has pizza eating ever been about the aesthetic anyway? Do you want to frame your Aldi monstrosity and put it up on the wall?

Since when has pizza eating ever been about the aesthetic anyway? Do you want to frame your Aldi monstrosity and put it up on the wall? Well you Divvy I don't like ******* raw tomatoes, hence why I said I didn't like the look of it. Why is the Aldi one a mostrosity and why would I want it on the wall? I never held it up as the be all and end all of pizza land, it was just informing you that it was a decent pizza for £2.50 after you slated it to the other guy. Anyway food has to look appealing to make you actually want to put it in your mouth, there is a reason why fine dining is a thing for people and I am also sure that true Italian pizza makers are all about the aesthetic of their pizza, as well as the taste. Whoever made the mexican wanted the aesthetic to look good, it is damn near symetrical. Also why do you have to take everything so personally ffs I didn't like your pizza get over it (take a look at the interaction between ccu and myself over the same not liking the look of his pizza)
