And still lots of happy clappers continued to back the horsemen...specifically Jenkins. I was sick of reading the comments if it wasnt for him there would be no club...the biggest pack of lies and mythical beliefs i have ever read... I was having a row with one bloke who protested but only against Nixon and Pattison as he liked Jenkins ? Very odd Anyway it’s thankfully in the past but I don’t get this recognition for Jenkins as I don’t think he did much for the supporters but so be it.

What's the point in looking back at what could have been ? You will just make yourself angry . We have to move forward and look at the bright future we have .

Totally agree, but it's always good to remember where you have came from, we can't change what happened but it should make everyone appreciate what we have now, i am just delighted to have people who believe in the club. It's amazing that so many things the supporters have believed where possible for the club the Piataks have recognised as untapped potential. The hope we have been given is just incredible.

Generally i think we are all looking forward. There's been remarkably little mentioned about our previous owners since the takeover. Most of us are happy to grab the future with both hands. Does have to be said however that the three amigos aren't quite in the past just yet. All three are still at the club in some capacity. Jenkins is chairman emeritus and has a stand named after him, Nixon is on the board as transitional director and SP is a vice president. I'm assuming that was part of the takeover deal, but I still don't like it.

The 3 amigos still hanging round in some capacity or other really only underlines the excuses lack of ambition and backwards thinking we had 15 years of under their tenure.

So all three of them are riding on the coat tails of the new owners. Disgusting, no shame, or conscience for the damage they have done.

Who cares? This is a thread about the improvements to the ground and the future. Discuss those instead of turning it into an opportunity to discuss the old owners. They actually live rent free in some of your minds. Move on.

He was just an utterly hopeless football club owner.

You have to look back to see how piss poor the ownership was, endless lies and drivel for years on end...but they are still lingering round the club.I do struggle with my bitterness towards them even more so now we are seeing change in such a short time.
The Americans have come in as a family commitee and instantly have the fans thoughts firmly in their sights , i would say more so than the playing situation at the moment.. The changes are subtle and cleve, they want to maximise the stadium in its current form..more so on non matchdays..be interesting to see the feedback when completed then getting used by fans and outside sources. Even if relegated this year, there wont be as much doom feeling as we had experienced before. But hopefully a few results can turn things round.

Definitely time to look forwards.
I've said it before, I'd rather call it the Michael Knighton stand. Despite all his faults at least he had some ambition. If Jenkins had been continually in charge the Piataks would be talking about upgrading the Scratchers.
No way should that East stand be named after him.
