Simmo tried to sign a player from an Irish club in Jan but the club weren't willing to sell at the time so I presume he may still be on Simmo's radar. The Irish player was Afolabi but he turned us down in favour of Kortrijk after everything was agreed. The player he referred to in the Kendal forum was Jack Thomson. He said(without naming the player or club) Queens Park didn’t want to sell him in January and that they might be willing to do a deal once the season was over. Be careful lug, a strange bloke from Scotland will be along very soon to say you’re talking shite, as employees of the football club aren’t allowed to talk about work outside of work and none of them ever do! There’s no way you could have found this information out.

Forgot about him, just went to see how many goals this superstar scored for his new club... 1 I think they were more doomed than we were in January. Can’t see the Belgium 2nd division being much cop tbh. A nice wet November eve in Beveren is likely similar to here… 😂

We will be lucky to sign any decent players this summer, even if we do have more money than ever before.
Because who would want to play for a club who came rock bottom last season, is located way up in the middle of nowhere and is now playing in the fourth tier?
I don't think it will be the worst of scraps we end up with like before, but I doubt we will get our first and second targets signed.

Is Ray that Barrow defender that played for them, when we beat them 5-1 ?
I remember reading their forums, after that game, and a lot of blame was placed on one defender, who they couldn`t wait to get rid of, and I think he left them, the following window, and to much celebration.
Not sure I`d want him anywhere near our back line, if it`s the same player.

Players have bad game , Ray has been immense this year . So immense they released him! Yes , it's a very weird one. In the past we've released players of the seasons etc. I'm not saying I would take him but it's a weird decision, personally we should be looking at players released by top end league 1 clubs / top end league 2 players who have been offered contract and even player released by low championship teams.

Players have bad game , Ray has been immense this year . So immense they released him! Do we know he hasn't rejected a contract they offered? Or would that come out further down the line? Sure at this stage last season we had a contract on the table to Feeney so he would have been on the retained list? So at the moment clubs are aware of players who haven't been offered a renewal, in a few weeks there will be more players available who have rejected those contract offers. But we might already be aware of those and looking to convince them not to sign the deal they have been offered and sign for us instead (like happened with Feeney last year)?

Adam Le Fondre leaving Hibs, apologies if it's been mentioned elsewhere.
Too old for one last hurrah in League Two?

Wasn’t offered a new deal, there’s an interview on RC about it I’m pretty sure.

Or are they trying to reduce their wage bill by letting higher earners leave?
