Everyone's entitled to their opinion. My view is that he hasn't looked match sharp due to his lack of match time. He looks inconsistent because he has been picked inconsistently and when picked used in a variety of positions. I think he's earned his recent run in the team and it's a shame he's picked up this injury.
Most in the crowd met his being withdrawn in the Lincoln game with bewilderment.
I might be wrong and he might turn out to not be up to it, but I don't think he's been given enough opportunity yet and has shown some promise.

The biggest failures this season were in my opinion born from bad managerial decisions... Far to defensive Didn't play butterworth nowhere near enough. No wing play Failure to get players like mcgeogh going. He didn't improve any player .. And there must be something going on between manager and Hunts for him not playing... As for goalies... ?

When Hunts got injured early on and we went to 4 at the back, this was the best defence we had all season, Guy got injured and then Reading happened and Lavelle fell to pieces. Hunts has had one good game all season and that was Burton, they literally played right into his skill set and lumped balls into the box for him to head clear. The very next game he was absolutely toasted by the forwards for pace and was a liability.

Is Holy still about? (I think I saw him near Sainsbury’s the other week). Would be nice to see him feature in the last home game, if so Played a big part in our promotion and would be sad to see him leave through the back door.

Do you want him to be the left hand post for the 45 minutes? I don't even think he is registered to play anyways.

He comes across like a great guy and grateful for his role in the promo season, but don’t think we should be treating the last home game as his testimonial Need to be picking XIs with an eye on the future, not the past

I'm on my phone so not going to download the rulebook but and I know it is a computer game but not like FM to get a basic fact wrong, sure you have to register keepers in your squad. But at least I can keep you busy by correcting me every other day 👍

It gets highlighted as the whole team is chronically slow so there isnt anyone to help cover for either of them. Neal isn't exactly going to make up the ground for example. Also worth noting that we've only kept three clean sheets all season and Huntington played 90 minutes in each of those games. As for registering goalies, not needed in L1 and L2, they are essentially treated like U21 players.

I really dont understand the rush to get shot of Huntingdon no he isnt going to be the answer should we get promoted again but you only have to listen to the guy to know that he knows what hes talking about and his knowledge and experience in the game should be exploited not discarded. I cant think of anyone better to see the establishment of a reserve side/development squad longer term.

If we are serious about this for next season then having experienced pros in that team would be fantastic to bring younger less experienced lads on. Also you would imagine there will be games as there has this season where he's exactly what you need. Seems the kind of guy to go down the coaching/management route so I'm sure there would be opportunities for him to get some experience too.

Just looking at the Chsmpions League teams tonight and I notice they have two substitute keepers on the bench. This is probably not new, but no wonder we end up with loads of crap keepers at this level. A few years ago we were getting the likes of Pickford and Krul here for a bit of game time.
