I noticed today that we were not running onto the ball but all stood in position waiting for the corner to come across, surely better to attack the ball? Saying that the corners were improved from earlier in the season, Gibson was unlucky with an obviously rehearsed corner set piece as he back heel flicked a near post ball just over. Yeah the back heel was good. I had started to see a bit better by that point - after getting blinded by the sun all afternoon till just after the second half started and the sun went down below the Warwick Road end, it was like watching the game through a photographic negative for ten minutes after that. I always wear a cap but today had a wooly hat on, massive error, I missed the peak so much lol

I thought it was Maguire? Thought it was Gibson, could have sworn I seen the 7 but we will see on YT highlights tomorrow, it will be on there, as there wasn't many others lol Had a look in the bbc live feed, it says Maguire headed over from the left hand side of the box in the 89th minute following a corner. Not a single mention of a back heel over the bar but it was a definite back heel flick. Though it is a little bit sad that somebody liked your post because I might have made an error, how ******* sad do you have to be

It was Maguire who backheeled over the bar from Moxon's corner.
If you'd genuinely been at the game, you would have been able to see this surely?
Especially as you have a much better view than anyone watching on iFollow when you're there in person at the match.

Strange it doesn't mention it at all, then again I might have had another mare and missed it, I'm not looking again lol

One positive is that we're not getting pumped in games and the team doesn't need major surgery, just the forward line does.
The summer recruitment of forwards came very late in the day and to be frank smacked of desperation. As someone said a while back it was a scattergun approach.
I'm surprised we've struggled in this area as Simmo's Carlisle teams have usually had plenty of firepower.
I just hope that targets have already been identified, and that our new owners, if/when that goes through sanction funds to address the problem. Its looking like we're gonna have half a season to stave off relegation, which would be a disaster.

Bit galling when a team as ordinary as Bristol Rovers can bring the likes of Jevani Brown and John Marquis on up front to wind the clock down when we’ve got nobody anywhere near that quality in our entire squad.

Yet they still looked the second best team on the pitch, though in all fairness, they were that shit with 11 men it didn't really affect them going down to 10.

We definitely need a minimum of 2 forwards, but we also need someone who can deliver a ball to provide them with goal scoring opportunities. Butterworth only seems to be looking for a chance to score himself, very good on the ball but rarely looks to see who's in a better position. Gibson unfortunately seems to be looking to score himself more than trying to supply chances to others, unless he's out wide. And sadly Moxon just isn't the player he thinks he is. So we need players who can provide as well as score themselves. Defensively we need to replace the ones who are injured, to give us cover and also pose a threat at set pieces.

we have been struggling in the forward area since Dennis goals dried up last season,we just managed to hang on to a play off position then some how turned it around in the semi and final.Unfortunately the forwards we have brought in are no better than the ones that left plus we are in a higher league. Yesterday was typical of what has been happening in most games, always in the game but lacking that killer punch. Plenty of decent balls going into the area but nothing on the end of them. Last year we scored plenty from set pieces from defenders/midfielders this year very few, ,

Here in the 19th century, they've invented sunglasses. To be fair - not even Bono would have thought that sunglasses would have been required at a Carlisle United home fixture in November.
