I don’t know about anyone else, but I’d rather see the England national team cease existence than see B teams in the EFL.
Sure it’s good to see more young English players develop, but not at the expense of club football as we know it. And why is it on our level to develop them against our first teams? If they are that ******* bothered, put them in their own first teams.
It’s easy to just ignore the pizza trophy games when they are on, but putting them in the league would be an act of terrorism against english club football and simply cannot be allowed to happen.

He would say that though, wouldn't he...
Maybe the young players would get more exposure if the big clubs stopped hogging every kid who shows an ounce of talent.

That's true.
They've rigged the system so they can sweep up all the best talent for next to nothing.
Then they complain there's not enough competitive football to develop the young talent.
Well d'uh.

Idiots like this, are why the good fight must continue! #BTeamBoycott Look at the crowds some of the National League clubs get, the English Game is amazing and completely unique. Hate comments from idiots like this who are happy to bastardise it all for the advantage of very few. As mentioned elsewhere, we could start by stopping the hoarding.

I wouldn’t have a problem with B teams coming in right at the bottom of the non league pyramid. They definitely shouldn’t be allowed to come in anywhere above this.

Personally think a reserve team replacing a Carlisle or a Mansfield is an absolute travesty. I'd be tempted to boycott. The game has already gravitated too far towards servicing the needs of the footballing elite - at the expense of the grass roots...

“Not having a problem” with B teams going in further down the non league pyramid is the same kind of attitude that some premier league fans have about B teams going into League 2. Put them down there, as it won’t affect our first team as we’ll likely never be at that level.
B teams shouldn’t be in the league pyramid at any level full stop.

What other League’s do in Europe is up to them. If it happens here, the game is done…but not in other leagues around the world, that makes sense. There are very few (if any) countries around the world that can boast the same lower league traditions as we enjoy in England. 4 fully professional divisions, well over 100 professional teams when the conference is taken into account, with hundreds of thousands of attendees paying to witness lower league football every week. Let's say we allow Aston Villa B into the league. How many fans are they bringing to Carlisle for a league game when the main Villa side plays at home in the Premier League? It's all about opinions, but on this one I'm in full agreement with CCU. This would kill our traditions, if not the 'industry' that seems to take precedence over the beautiful game itself.

Everybody is enititled to their opinion, I have no issue with that at all. The game will not be done though. As to your additional point, I guess they will fetch as much as Fulham once brought to Manchester City, 28 or Torquay to Carlise, you get the picture. I am not sure what Bury FC fans would have thought of becoming a City or Utd B team in all but name, of course, they would never ever make the top division but they would never have done that anyway, instead they got a dodgy owner and went bust and now are in argument with an amateur Bury team about joing forces and moving back to gigg lane. A fate which may well await us if that rich **** clicks his finers for his loan money. I'm not particularly advocating for it but I wouldn't fight it with the last dying breath of my body.
