It all looks very tasteful architecture and would have been fantastic if it ever materialised. And actually since then how many hotels have been built? We have also had bingo halls, cinemas and numerous fast food and other chain restaurants built so it would have undoubtedly been successful. Were any figures ever quoted to how much the whole project was going to cost? It never got past the first stage of planning! He was told to come back with more detailed plans, and never did. That’s as far as it went!

Not gonna lie, there's so much good you could say about the transparency of our new owners, and how exciting the plans are. But the posed armer and women in the wheelchair sent me for some reason Also, someone much smarter than me is going to need to explain half of this because I'm lost

Looks like some acoustic boards at the back of the Warwick to deflect the sound back. And, some new BOGS.
I'm even considering a trip back home so I can have one last piss against that concrete.
Seriously though, fantastic from the Piataks.

It's all a bit odd this. We were led to believe by the previous owners that BP was a waste of time in upgrading and was more or less dilapidated beyond repair.

The plans look pretty good to me, the disabled section is a welcome addition to the Warwick..this will give extra options for fans watching from behind the goal or the side(thats if they keep east stand area?)And new bogs tp go...whats not to like either..The nostalgia of the Warwick still remains for everyone.👏
The East stand is finally getting some facilities, all really positive moves, try maximise the facilities to use almost daily is an excellent move going forward, its just sad that its taken so long.A bit of thought and only a small bit of forward thinking without mass overhaul..this can be done.Shows how bad the horsemen were stuck in their old ways....holding the club back massively.

Whatever they want to do will only improve the spot but just want to say how brilliant and refreshing it is to have a set of owners who are open and transparent to it's fans.
Hopefully this will attract more good businesses to the club.

Seriously though, fantastic from the Piataks. Which part of the plans show the acoustic boards? Just trying to work it out myself. Be a great addition, as much as we love the old girl, BP doesn't lend itself too well acoustically to atmosphere. Interestingly on the WRE plans, looks like the floodlight to between WRE and East Stand is coming out. That area looks to have a new fan zone type seating area. Fantastic to see though, all looks very promising indeed. It will be refreshing to see a fully utilised East Stand. Its much bigger than it looks inside there, so lots of opportunity to be realised hopefully. Well done Piataks and all involved.

All very good!
A little investment, forward thinking and the east stand could bring in a lot of money.

As we've all said many times before, the previous owners were a joke. It might even be an exaggeration to call them dinosaurs (as different from fossils). The Piataks not only have a great attitude, harnessing input from two generations, they also have the added advantage of the American culture of "service" and "going for gold".

All fantastic stuff, being kept in the dark and told there is never any money to do anything is what we were used to, it never inspired the supporters to have hope. Now we have it in spades, will be interesting to see how long this takes to get permission and then implemented.
The Piatiks do not want to be associated with mediocrity, which is really what a large part of BP stands for, you can call it charming and all the other things people have said but in reality it is mainly not fit for purpose in the 21st century and does not give financial returns as modern/ stands and facilties should.
So this is a huge step in the right direction and it is brilliant how they communicate and bring us on board, we have to move together and rid ourselves of the gulf that previously existed where fans were treated as an extreme inconvenience. To be run in such a professional way is just a huge step change in what we were used to, we now have optimism and hope of better things to come.
