The goalkeeping situation is a shambles. Holy was dropped first time round when he wasn’t playing that badly. His on loan replacement didn’t look any better. We tried to sign a Scottish goalkeeper with no real pedigree but this was cocked up. Breeze was then chucked in the deep end. He was then dropped in favour of a goalkeeper who looks ok but nothing special. Good job we’ve got money to burn or questions would be asked as to why we’re paying the wages of 4 goalkeepers. Absolutely! Just like the keepers, we're not saving anything...

Paul Gerrard is still available, with him leaving and our goal keeping and set pieces being such a shambles, some one at the club needs to either apologise if it was a fall out or listen to his demands allowing his return.
Something must have happened for him to move without having anything lined up, his arrival alongside Simmo kept us in L2 then got us promoted, a coincidence we are shite since he left .......

I thought he'd left for somehwere, now that is just really odd if he has left to sit doing FA, not a word has ever been said about it, weird.

According to Simmo his demands are still miles apart from what the Club have offered him. To me he's using classic pay negotiation tactics, 'I really want to stay but...'. I don't blame him as the Piataks have been spending heavily and it's not yet clear if we've finally sorted out our long term keeper. He just needs to hold his nerve and he should get a better offer.

I'd say the discussion on here about goalkeeping stats, comments about Lewis looking ok but nothing special suggest that although Lewis is the current no.1, Breeze could easily push him aside next season if he works hard and continues to improve.

Nobody on here discussing his stats picks the team. We’ve not spent money on Lewis for him to sit on the bench.

It's really difficult for Breeze to judge his position/worth to the club.If Holy isn't offered a contract would Simpson sign another permanent keeper in the summer as second choice or a loan keeper as 3rd choice back up to Lewis and Breeze. Or will Holy be offered another contract considering he has performed well in league 2.

I think he'll be off in the summer. Lewis 1, Breeze 2 and a new number 3. Either someone experienced towards the end of their career to help with coaching/developing Breeze or a young keeper in the Breeze mould. Not sure if any of the youth keepers are potential first team prospects.

Ideally Breeze should go out on loan somewhere to get some game time in men's football. Then we'll be in a much better position to assess his ability/potential.
If he sits on the bench here how much will he (or the club) learn? Maybe he could get some minutes in the EFL trophy?

Would have to be a decent loan for me, ideally L2 otherwise i would rarther he was around and working with our coaching team ect. Think him going to Reds and training with us would be too big a step down after starting L1 games and doing well.

Absolutely, highest level we can get him action in, even national league level is decent. Any lower than that I'd agree better to be around our first team (bench) and training.

I think he should be careful not to be greedy. He's still largely untested and young. Promising careers in football can rapidly go downhill and end.
