I’m pleased he’s got through 3 games without making any clangers, best thing for him now is to bring a new No.1 in and loan Breeze out for the rest of the season.
He’s done more than enough to show he’s got the ability to go play every week in the NL / NLN and potentially comeback next season as our No.2. His distribution has really stood out for me, consistently found Garner today and looks very calm on the ball.

He hasn't had an awful lot to do in his 3 games, but they'll stand him in good stead. I've been impressed with the way he has carried himself in games, and his distribution, which is much more measured and less panicked. Vast improvement on Holy

Surely if he is looking a more assured, calm keeper and better distributor we would be better keeping him here as cover and loaning out Holy?

I thought it could’ve been to much for the lad to be thrown in but to his credit he has done him and the club proud.

I'll have to see that goal again as I reckon it was saveable, however he certainly made amends with some other decent saves.
He looks very confident for a young lad and his kicking distribution is a massive improvement on recent keepers.

There's not many things better in football than seeing a local lad come through the ranks and make the first team. Has happened all too little with us over the years and would be something I hope we can improve on in the future with better facillities. I think Breeze has shown the makings of a solid pro. Certainly hasnt bottled it in some pretty high stakes games. Agree with others than he needs much more experience before he could stake a claim to be our proper number 1, but give it a season or two after some loans and who knows. Hope he is enjoying his first win as a pro tonight.

Thought his accuracy of kicking was excellent, worries me how high he positions himself when we are on the ball but thats part of the modern game.
Although we do need an experienced keeper and Breeze needs to be loaned out to play regularly.

He was frustrated with the goal, actually had a little kick at his post in the aftermath. Made up for it with his quick reaction for the second part of that double save, and has done ok in these 3 games - although he's not faced much in the way of clear cut chances. I agree with those saying he needs regular football to continue his development.

The one thing I have noticed is that the defence looked like they were more comfortable with him behind them than the recent version of Holy when they were waiting for a mistake to happen so put their game on edge.

I completely agree with what others have said. He would never have got a sniff were it not for some terrible performances by Holy. He’s in the professional game for a reason , what’s the point if you get a chance , do well and then get dropped. I think Simmo will stick with him now. He has shown great temperament in the last two games. I take my hat off to him. Well done that man.
