He was well protected by the defence in his first few games.
Simmo had clearly instructed them not to pass back to him in any circumstances.
He improved as a result and grew in confidence, but was never totally convincing.
If, after a few games, he is suddenly Billy Big Bollocks good luck to him elsewhere.
I'm sure we can pick up someone of similar standard, if not better, from Carlisle City or one of the other local teams.

Suppose you would need to know what was offered to give a fair judgement on the situation. But you would have expected improved terms so it's surprising he's rejected considering the fact he's only played 4 games. Hope he's not getting his head filled full of shit from a parasite agent.

Bit harsh. The offer was maybe derisory!

Bit harsh. The offer was maybe derisory! Took his time to reject it then.

It would be interesting to know how much he's been offered. For someone of his age and experience what's a fair offer or what's a derisory offer? I genuinely have no idea what a realistic wage would be for Breeze.

Bit harsh. The offer was maybe derisory! I don't think Simmo or the Piateks would have made a "derisory" offer if they think he has a bright future. Would they?

My worry is all the players agents are asking for daft contracts because of the new owners, if they are the players are in for a rude awakening come summer when they're out of a job.

So many questions.
How many contracts have we offered to existing squad members this season? And how many have been accepted? Are we making token offers as the players don't actually fit into our plans? Or is something else going on?

Maybe all isn't rosey in the changing room, Simmo getting all the love of the fan base, while player's are criticised, when only following Simpson/Skelton tactical failings.

Something has gone wrong here. As a 20 yr old with a handful of appearances he has the profile of a 3rd choice keeper for League One level. I imagine such kinds of players are hardly raking it in whatever club in the league they are at. So either the club is offering something crazy low or (more likely) he is asking for way too much. I hope it can be sorted and he signs. He has shown some potential and it is always good to have some local lads in the team.

We’ve no idea what the situation is? Who’s to say far bigger Teams maybe have him on their radar?

The goalkeeping situation is a shambles. Holy was dropped first time round when he wasn’t playing that badly. His on loan replacement didn’t look any better. We tried to sign a Scottish goalkeeper with no real pedigree but this was cocked up. Breeze was then chucked in the deep end. He was then dropped in favour of a goalkeeper who looks ok but nothing special. Good job we’ve got money to burn or questions would be asked as to why we’re paying the wages of 4 goalkeepers.
