American ethos is all about winning. There’s no way , on that basis, Simpson can continue. Always the woe is me card and how everything is so difficult. Might help if he had a system and players that fitted it for a start. Needs a solid , experienced number 2 who can step up at the end of September when Simpson is sacked Mary Poppins is going nowhere, Frank. The Piataks think he's the best manager in the world. 95% of our supporters love him, don't forget. It might be as low as 93% now,all things considered

Most of our managers had a history of abject failure at league 2 level. Just think of the top players who were utter mince in the managers chair, mccreery, kavanagh. Curle bought old aged pensioners. Pressley signed some good players then gave them instructions no one understood. Millen smiled a lot.

Thank god the seasons over. An ordeal and one man is responsible. Paul Simpson. No confidence whatsoever that he can turn things around. Do the right thing Simmo and step down.

Anyway now Altrincham are staying down, I hope we’re on to Conn-Clarke’s agent.

Jordan Jones is available as his contract has ended at Wigan, LW mainly but has played on the right. Anyone who follows matches north of the border seen him, as he's been on loan at Kilmarnock and St Mitten.

I’ve suggested him recently on here. He’d be a good signing and strong on set piece Wouldn’t be surprised if Wrexham will listen to offers for Jack Marriot. He didn’t get many starts & id imagine they’ll look to strengthen up front. Presumably he’s still in contract so they might be willing to pay a % of his wages.

Putting this in here as I know he’s been mentioned as a potential target…

Putting this in here as I know he’s been mentioned as a potential target… But... We're not "something new". To him, we're something old.
