That c*nt should never have been allowed to step back in BP again after the way he left last time. No way, absolutely no way. So you judge someone on a badly worded sentence in a Newspaper rather than on his record as a coach at Carlisle United and all he has learned since? |

Wasn't a fan of him as a player or as our temporary manager in 2002.
But he's not short of experience since back then,no lose though till the end of the season.
Also Simmo has accepted he needs a different take on things fingers crossed.
It's a bit of a shame Simmo only picks ex utd players or managers (Gregg) as his back up staff you would think he'd like someone completely new with fresh ideas.

I agree with the point about ex players and staff being appointed. There must be hundreds of people in top academies who would welcome (what would surely be more responsibility and a higher profile position) such an opportunity. They'd bring with them experience working in a bigger training set up (closer to what we're working towards) and will have seen how some top top coaches work. |

Has anyone on here actually worked with Billy Barr? No, didn't think so.
This is Simmo's choice and he's in the best position to choose. Whether he's ex-Carlisle or not is irrelevant.

I'm pleased to see the arrival of another support staff member for Simmo. That said, I would have gone for someone with more experience at a higher level. But perhaps it's a case of "better the devil you know than the devil you don't".
