If Billy Barr is the answer what is the question? Worst right-back in our history?

If Billy Barr is the answer what is the question? Worst right-back in our history? Who was the one in the 80's that could have beaten Bolt in the 100m if they were to only run backwards.

Worst right-back in our history? David Beherall? That's another name from the past I'd successfully obliterated from my memory. Barr was certainly one of the worst right backs but some of the players in the early 90's were awful too.

Was Barr not signed as a midfielder, but couldn’t even fill that role? Came fully recommended by his then manager Dario Gradi. Truly terrible footballer for us.

I wanted to say him but now not sure if it wasn't Paul Gorman but Graham was the name on the tip of my tongue . They used to shepherd the opposing winger into the box on a weekly basis lol

He actually had a storming game against us playing for Halifax one year, looked unplayable that day. Unfortunately he never hit those heights in a blue shirt. Gary Worrall syndrome.

I thought Mike Graham wasn’t too bad although he was much maligned.

Just couldn't do it on a Saturday, unfortunately for all concerned.

Bobby McNeil would take some beating. Rob Bowman was another poor defender although he played well in the Jimmy Glass game.

They used to shepherd the opposing winger into the box on a weekly basis lol Mike Graham has still got John Barnes in his pocket from the Liverpool cup tie, part of an interesting back 5 with Dalziel, Saddington (RIP), Jeffels and Fitzpatrick. I didn’t think he was that bad, never guilty of diving in, a master of back pedalling.
