Tracey is a scout for Brentford and Gerrard runs his own goalkeeping school.

Regardless of his contract fiasco, Moxon went downhill really fast at set pieces after Gerrard left.
Even today, what a pathetic corner from Gibson, ended up near the opposite flag.

Tracey is a scout for Brentford and Gerrard runs his own goalkeeping school. So they didn't get employed anywhere else as goal keeping coaches? Adam Collin mind didn't want to play as his school was doing well, so who knows. Tracey works with Pressley, interesting

tbh we need a keeper coach to come in and concentrate on the keepers, if we need a specialist set piece coach, hire one, same if we need a defence coach, hire one. Both Gerrard and Tracey were goalkeeping and set piece coach and they were excellent at both. Set pieces when Tracey was here were brilliant. Gerrard even got Simpson into leaving two men up at corners, which we scored from on more than one occasion. Our keeper looks like he willl need a lot more 1 on 1 training than in previous years

Where Tracey is now doesn’t necessarily mean he went there immediately after leaving Carlisle.

What are you talking about now Frank? Pressley is a senior member of recruitment at Brentford and Tracey (according to you) is at Brentford as a scout, ergo they work together, no? If Pressley and Tracey are both at Brentford is that not a resource we can tap into? Brentford have, if not the largest, one of the largest and most thorough analytics and scouting departments in the Premier League. They must research, scout players regularly who get rejected because they only have the potential to be L1 players. Can we not buy that research? At least our overworked analysts will have a starting point rather than trawling the entire Championship Manager database. Cheaper than employing another analyst as well, maybe.

Unfortunately any ties we could have with Brentford have been ruined since we fucked them and one of their players round on deadline day, remember the one we sent back in the final hours? Dykes essentially told Greg that we can get fucked if we ever want a player from Brentford. That's not to say we couldn't tap up some released lads from them but likely they could have someone advising against us. Think we would get the same response if we asked to use some of their research.

Interesting, I didn't know any of that. Who was the player we sent back?
We had a defensive midfielder on loan. He was supposed to be a great prospect, Candice something? Shocking player. He cropped up the other week, he scored for Hayes and Yeadon or some such.
Anyway if true, we are Donald ducked. Newcastle?
Canice Carroll, Oxford city

I'm not sure who the player was unfortunately, just know he was from Brentford and what happened following. Canice Carroll? Aye, awful player. Newcastle would make the most sense to build some form of link to. Don't understand why it's something we haven't explored more of over the years. Is Beardsley still involved there?

Presley had nothing to do with recruitment at present he’s Head of Individual Playrr Development
The link to recruitment is Lee Dykes and Luke Joyce

He still feeds into recruitment, not much point recruiting players who don't have any potential!
My friends son runs soccer schools for Glasgow rangers. They start working with 12 year olds, identify who has talent and at that age, coaching, development etc all work together to funnel them in. A lot of the work is training off the field as well, steer clear of birds, booze, stay off social media etc.

No doubt the reason a higher division team is sending out a player, get them some game time to get them match fit etc. You'd almost think there would have been some communication of what both parties were looking for, ie a ready made first team improver from a Carlisle prospective or a young guy needing minutes (brentford)
