There’s another of your poor assumptions Marko. Where Tracey is now doesn’t necessarily mean he went there immediately after leaving Carlisle. What are you talking about now Frank? Pressley is a senior member of recruitment at Brentford and Tracey (according to you) is at Brentford as a scout, ergo they work together, no? If Pressley and Tracey are both at Brentford is that not a resource we can tap into? Brentford have, if not the largest, one of the largest and most thorough analytics and scouting departments in the Premier League. They must research, scout players regularly who get rejected because they only have the potential to be L1 players. Can we not buy that research? At least our overworked analysts will have a starting point rather than trawling the entire Championship Manager database. Cheaper than employing another analyst as well, maybe. Unlike you to totally misread the situation You said “So they didn't get employed anywhere else as goal keeping coaches?” To which I replied “There’s another of your poor assumptions Marko. Where Tracey is now doesn’t necessarily mean he went there immediately after leaving Carlisle.” Its like dot to dot at times with you Marko!

Nathan Young-Coombes Was the player Presley had nothing to do with recruitment at present he’s Head of Individual Playrr Development The link to recruitment is Lee Dykes and Luke Joyce Guys been at 4 youth academies, which is never a good look tbh so I take it he was unfit due to the ankle injury he got right at the start of the season? No doubt the reason a higher division team is sending out a player, get them some game time to get them match fit etc. You'd almost think there would have been some communication of what both parties were looking for, ie a ready made first team improver from a Carlisle prospective or a young guy needing minutes (brentford) You would imagine there would be no chance we would touch an injured player. Then you look at the rest of the players recruited. Why was dyke pissed off. He must have understood we didn't want an injured player. Why even send him?

I think the problem came to light when he rocked up at BP to sign on crutches.

Interesting, I didn't know any of that. Who was the player we sent back? We had a defensive midfielder on loan. He was supposed to be a great prospect, Candice something? Shocking player. He cropped up the other week, he scored for Hayes and Yeadon or some such. Anyway if true, we are Donald ducked. Newcastle? I'm not sure who the player was unfortunately, just know he was from Brentford and what happened following. Canice Carroll? Aye, awful player. Newcastle would make the most sense to build some form of link to. Don't understand why it's something we haven't explored more of over the years. Is Beardsley still involved there? No hes not and we with lost an opportunity with Simpson's best pal Dan Ashworth now on gardening leave and heading for the exit door.

No. You don't ask for applications at all. You go out, find the best person for the job and bring them into the club. The best candidates for the job are unlikely to be unemployed and not likely to be looking at the club Facebook page. These folks, most likely, need to be headhunted. It snacks of desperation to me. Simpson is so unpopular in the game he doesn't know of any goalkeeper coaches who are willing to join, so we're desperately advertising the position. It's non-league level stuff, not even Conference clubs do this sort of thing to attract coaching staff. This is really low of you, all you do now is try to nit pick anything the club does and as you can see on this thread no one agrees with what you have to say anymore as it's just so petulant and stupid. Even Mullen disagreed with you.

Good to see us adding some more positions behind the scenes to reduce workload on people who have likely been doing many jobs. Presumably the kind of thing that wasn't possible before the Piataks. Look forward to seeing how adding organisation in the club will be seen as a bad thing by some. Got my bingo card ready

Can't see or hear the word crutches without thinking about Jamie Devitt giving it some to weekend in paradise. One of the highlights of the entire season for me. How badly could we have done with that lad this season, both on and off the park.

You collect gate money 3x a month and pay wages once , all off which is 90%+ automated. What do they do all day? Hardly an endless job to calculate win bonuses.

I'm sure they created the extra position because of a lack of workload in other areas.

You really think running a football club is that easy , let's change it up we are a company with a turnover of £5 million, with a significant amount of that money coming from hospitality, we are current commitments to several multi-million pound infrastructure project and trying to grow the commercial side of the club. Once again mark this is not an accounts position...did you actually read the advertisement or once again have you just used your illogical way of assumptions, which is really not your best skill .
