Without an independently run fit and proper owners test, these charlatans are going to continue to destroy our game.

The horror show continues:
Reading assistant boss Andrew Sparkes and director of player development Eddie Niedzwiecki have left the club.
Financial pressures led to a restructure of the coaching staff, with Ruben Selles' number two Sparkes leaving having joined the club in July.
Niedzwiecki returned to the Royals in 2022 having previously been assistant manager from 2019-2021.
"Ongoing financial challenges at the club meant changes were necessary," a club statement said.

Supposedly a protest planned at their game tomorrow. Talk of a pitch invasion to get the game abandoned. From what I've read on other forums, the club is close to dying.

And it might help us if games against Reading are expunged and only matches against the other 22 teams matter since they hammered us

If they stay up i can see the 4 relegated clubs seriously mounting legal action over the Car Leasing company twice been allowed to pay the wages which it seems has possibly saved them from having another 9 points deducted. When Morecambe and one of their sponsors tried to do this last year they wernt allowed to and had points deducted.

I read somewhere (can't find it now) that they've taken the lower rows of seating off sale and that folk are expecting some kind of netting to cover the lower seats, in an attempt at restricting access to the pitch.

Reading should have at least one more points reduction. And the recent "game abandoned" should be an automatic loss in terms of that game.
A mate is a Reading supporter 📖📚🤣 and so I've followed their story quite closely. The football authorities should be more consistent, especially after their "good ownership" policy has been shown to be leaky. I would have Reading automatically relegated to League Two. They can then sell and rebuild under new owners.
