A 2 point deduction ?! How many times have they been charged, and got off lightly ?!
The only others I can think of who get away with so much, and are protected, and things covered up, are the Royals, so why.....
Ooooooooooooooooh, now it makes sense.

No matter what your feelings towards any particular club are no genuine fan deserves owners of this calibre..generations of history ruined by ego driven rivets who just crawl back to where they came from leaving the fans usually to try and pick up the pieces God knows we've had a close call or two.. UTB But given the numbers they attend in their fans are just as much to blame if theyd stopped attending [ or paying to attend ] their home games six months ago they would have got what they wanted by now. But the EFL/FA are just as complicit in that they could declare a fan induced administration that carries only deffered punishment where if the fans declare they intend to force their club into administration to remove the likes of an owner like Readings neither they or the club attract any punishment. But i think the Reading fans have missed a trick here the owners sister is reputedly one of the ten richest people in the world maybe they should have concentrated their efforts on giving her and her companies enough grief that getting her to force her brother to simply give the club away to a suitable new owner debt free might have been a better way to go. Foreign owners should realise we dont gice a fcuk about them and all we want is their cash and if theyre uncomfortable with that then they shouldnt come anywhere near British lower league football clubs.

Extremely disappointing and toothless. 2 points, when it should have been 4 points minimum. So many who are in "authority" couldn't run a bath.
We've got a mate who's a Reading supporter 📖 and so we've had many discussions over the last few months.
Mrs WLYC says it won't help achieve anything for the club's situation. Their fans were happy, by the way, when Dai was splashing the cash.

The only way for multiple points deductions to work and actually affect a Football Club is for a sliding scale to be in operation,
Repeated offences of a similar nature should result in something like this:
1st Offence - 3pts (Equivalent to a win) 2nd Offence - 6pts (Two wins) 3rd Offence - 9pts (Three wins)
Further offences are then 9pts each time.
Yes it’s harsh on the fans, but the only way unscrupulous owners will sell quickly is if mounting deductions threaten League Positions, and possible Relegations, and thus reduce the value of the Club prior to sale…

You can bet if it had been us we would of got hammered! We would've been expelled from the league by now. In fact we probably would've self expelled ourselves to hammer our own fans and save the FL a job. Because it's a home counties club with a few Tarquins in attendance they're having rose petals sprinkled in their path. They've taken the piss for far too long now they should be kicked out of the league and their record this season expunged. That's the only fair and proper solution here.

Simmo has now expressed his view that Reading's points deduction should have been more.
