bigboblee: You don't want to know the reactions to your comments from Mrs WLYC and Nipples. What is repeatable is Nipples saying you should know the difference between "mentally slow" (think "reaction time") and "mentally sub-normal".

I understand what your saying with mentaly slow , ( chasing shadows a bit , when the ball comes into the box ) good luck to the lad , but his inexperience for me means. We need a goalie asap.

Turned down his contract offer - Simpson saying the agents demands vs the clubs offer are worlds apart.
Don't blame him if he feels aggrieved - didn't do anything to deserve being dropped and Lewis doesn't look any better.

If he wants first team football he's not going to get that with us. Probably needs to take a step down and be first choice in the national league.

Agreed, its not a suprise, did nothing to warrant being dropped, after 4 quite assured appearances, for his age and experience(lack of).

He should be our guaranteed back up keeper, that'll probably be one of the pre requisites of his new contract, but managers always seem to want older more experienced keepers, and rarely give youngsters a chance. I'd want him to stay, but after getting his games he'll be hungry for more, so you can't blame him.

When playing Football Manager, I often try to upset players on deadline day, to try and get some interest, and move them on.
This could have come out now, as either the club, or his agent, feel it best to part ways, and get him playing more.
Reckon he could easily be No.1 at many L2 clubs, so if he leaves in the next few hours, will wish him the best.

So if he didn't have 4 games he would likely have signed his contract and went on loan, funny old game lol

Sounds to me like a standard bit of back and forth negotiation. Still think he'll stay with us

Is this agent Kavanagh screwing us over again. Again.
We need to put a clause in first year pro contracts that they aren’t allowed to have Kavanagh as their agent.

Except this isn't Football Manager I'd assume it'll be back to the drawing board and a new contract somewhere between the two numbers No, but as the hours tick away, players and managers will get desperate, and either one can try to "engineer" a move, if they desired. Could be that we can`t move on Holy, and Breeze would be 3rd choice, or him or his agent have had interest, or seen a potential position open up, and this news coming out new, so late in the window, could be him on his way soon. And being "worlds apart" on the contract, suggests there might not be any room for middle ground, and he`s off. Which I wouldn`t begrudge him, he seemed to cope quite well in the games he played, and that would have been noticed for sure.
