LOST - Never intended to watch it, but put the pilot on when it first aired, and became hooked until the end. Watch it once a year now, and for me, the best TV series ever made, a simply phenomenal show, script, and cast. Terry O`Quinn, who played John Locke was outstanding all the way through, and put in the best acting performance I`ve ever seen, he was incredible !
Battlestar Galactica (reboot) Only watched the first episode of this when it came out, and couldn`t get my head around a female Starbuck & Boomer, and never bothered with it. Since then I`ve watched it all the way through several times, and now love it.
ALF - The show about the Alien from Melmac. This has aged surprisingly well, and is still a very funny show almost 40 years on. A shame we don`t see that ALF avatar on the forums any more, always made me laugh seeing that picture !
That`s enough for now.

Monkey for me. Loved it as a kid and at the time I didn't realise that a lot of stories come from the teachings of the Buddha.

Picked up the boxset of Monkey on ebay for £20 a few years back, 52 episodes I think, and 13 that were never aired in the UK.
Grabbed all the Soprano`s series in charity shops for £1/2 each, watched it once, and enjoyed it, and I`ve been thinking about watching it again for a while now, before I likely try and flog it all on ebay, not a show I could watch over and over.
ibogaine - if you enjoy all the old ads, there`s a youtube channel with LOADS of them, all the old UK ones.
"RetrosteveUK" I think it`s called, and has all the ones you`ll remember from the 80`s on there.
Who can get these without cheating ? I think some might actually be for the same thing, ads were SO much better back then.
1) "I were right about that saddle" 2) "Ted, we`ve noticed the garden`s been getting a bit difficult for you, would this help ?" 3) "Will it be mushrooms ? fried onion rings ? you`ll have to wait and see" 4) "Do you have a book on fly fishing ? it`s a very old book" 5) "You can`t sing, you can`t play, and you look awful.....you`ll go a long way"

You can't beat the Tom Wrathhall Ads ''He's sec a grand fella.'' I kind of miss the old local ads for how bad they were.

Modern ads are just awful, never watch them, and it`s only on youtube that I see them, but backup, and reload until they go away.
There was so much heart, and comedy in those old ads, nowadays it`s all flashing screens, people talking loudly, and a mention of "download the app, or visit our website TODAY" Well, it was last time I looked.

You can't beat the Tom Wrathhall Ads ''He's sec a grand fella.'' I kind of miss the old local ads for how bad they were. Wasn't that Donald Scott on the voiceover? Always remember the Peter Tyson advert with some Border presenter, possibly Alan Fisher, awkwardly saying "Hallo Tosh, got a Toshiba? If not, got to Peter Tyson" accompanied by a wonky photo of the shop with the phone number underneath.

Another one for the list, saw Little Britain on one of the Freeview channels last night, comedy that gives you a laugh.

It`s not THAT old, but one of the most underrated comedies of recent years, is available on the C4 catchup, and also netfix, without ads.
Man Down - Greg Davies as a bloke for which, everything seems to go wrong. Rik Mayall as his Dad, in series 1, before he passed, and some incredible moments of pure comedy gold, that still have me laughing now, when I recall them.
One of the best comedies this century for me.
