The Flumps is one of the first telly programmes I remember, I was chucked out on my three-wheeler bike all day when I hit 3-year old. Excellent shout on Huckleberry Finn, munchy. I reckon half of these lot who created kids tv must have been a stoner or into LSD when at Uni. Wasn`t the Magic Roundabout made by people under the influence ? I used to watch that when it was on one of the Sky channels, late at night, when I got home from town, and remember it looking very different as an adult. And Shaggy from Scooby Doo was apparently a stoner, hence him and Scooby, always having the munchies ! Shocked, but amused, when I heard that ! Noggin the Nog rings a bell, but can`t recall anything about it.

Just finished my yearly rewatch of LOST. The best TV show ever made.
But it`s now getting like Star Wars, where I know the lines, and what people are about to say.
So it`s now going to be a 2 yearly thing, and I`ll be watching other shows instead.
Thinking about watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch again, picked it up cheap on ebay many years back, and it`s worth it, just for the cat !

One of the Aunts is also in some episodes of LOST, she looks MUCH different, to how she did then. And in her scenes there was a character using an alias of Joan Hart.
Last night I started watching a show from the 70`s, that was on the bbc, called Survivors.
The whole series is available on youtube.

Last night I started watching a show from the 70`s, that was on the bbc, called Survivors. The whole series is available on youtube. I remember that one, it was brilliant, but it was a long week having to wait for each episode. Found this description on wiki, sounds very similar to a recent gift from China; Survivors is a British post-apocalyptic fiction drama television series created by Terry Nation and produced by Terence Dudley at the BBC, that broadcast from 1975 to 1977. It concerns the plight of a group of people who have survived an apocalyptic plague pandemic, which was accidentally released by a Chinese scientist and quickly spread across the world via air travel. Referred to as "The Death", the plague kills approximately 4,999 out of every 5,000 human beings on the planet within a matter of weeks of being released.

Might have already been mentioned, but Allo Allo, used to be a highlight of Saturday night TV. The french policeman and his story about the naughty RAF bummers was brilliant.

Survivors was ahead of it`s time, but that wiki entry is interesting ! The opening credits to it, suggest the Chinese scientist, went travelling around the world, dropping it off wherever he landed. Some accident !
No-one wears a mask in it, but people approach each other with caution, standing far apart and telling "Halt ! are you infected ?"
I`ve already got my plans ready, for if it ever happens.
1. Straight to the gun shop, load up, and stash all the ammo and guns I can, and then torch the place. 2. Head to B&Q, and all garden centres, and grab all the seeds I can. 3. Head to my local Tesco, and take control, shooting anyone who tries to enter. 4. Secure it, and then get steaming drunk, and feast on all the pistachio, and honey roast peanuts. 5. Form a militia, give them guns, and setup a control centre at the nearby lake, to control the water supply.
As long as I can get to the gun shop quick enough, I should be alright.

Picked up the complete Allo Allo on ebay, for £3, from a local seller, and went and collected it. It`s aged REALLY well, and was funny, all the way through, there wasn`t a bad series, or episode, from memory. Always had a crush on Michelle, and there were 2 scenes in series 5/6 I think, where she was dressed in something other than her usual resistance atire, and beret, and oh my.... But the waitress was my favourite, the dark haired one, who sounded like she was hocking one up, when she tried to do the accent. The revival they did is available on youtube, and is worth a watch, just to see all the old faces back together.
