Anyone who has never been or heard of it, check out Matlock Bath whilst in the area - picture a seaside town with arcades, food stalls and the likes only the sea is a big river and you are there. Has a Gulliver's Kingdom there too that I took the kids to when they were young and they absolutely loved it. Edited to add that thinking about it, seaside places are generally horrible run down places these days whereas MB is pretty small and quite posh therefore you get all the aesthetics of a seaside town but the place is really tidy and well kept, a lovely part of the country and a hidden gem. Great place is Matlock Bath. Heights of Abraham is well worth going up - it's a cable car and you will need a head for heights as it stops for a while over the road so you can take pictures! Weekends are interesting in MB due to the hundreds of bikers who invade the place - all very peaceful. It also looked like bikers paradise when I was there too, ideal if you are into motorbikes of all ages. There was no way I was getting on that ski-lift thing, those mountains look massive when you look up and don't look like they should be there, almost like there was a mountain range before and they blasted through it, maybe because of this the place is a sun trap as one time it was scorching and the kids went into the river, paddling about with all the the other kids there. We were staying in Tissington and the farmers wife said that MB is their seaside place inland. They were dressing up the wells in Tissington when we were there, loads of them which was also fascinating as they believed that their water saved them as they were relatively unscathed from The Black Death. Nice that if you scratch the surface of England it can still throw up traditions and places that you were unaware of.

Was planning on going, but yesterday's performance has left me unsure. I might give it a miss, new ground or not. This season just needs to get in the bin now. I'm thinking along the same lines TBH. It'll be interesting to see how the ticket sales go on Monday. Having done the League Cup game a few seasons ago it's not a ground I need to tick-off although it feels like an age right now when we'll next play them again in the league.

There's a quick shot on the match highlights that shows the extent of the empty seats/netting yesterday a lot more than you might have thought

Ticket bought - straight in, no waiting, might be the only one there I've just got mine. My ticket number is 395. Does that mean we've already sold nearly 400?

Well I've just bought 6 with no hassle. Also a mate of mine has just texted me to say that we have shifted 500 in the first hour, which if true is bloody unbelievable.

Sad that it will be our last game at this level for a while, only our team spoiled it to be fair as the increased away support has been great as has the quality of a lot of the teams that have came here.

I wouldn’t go to this if I was being paid to.

At the final whistle, Derby fans will probably be celebrating promotion and at least for us we can draw a line under a wretched season. It will be a nice feeling for it to be over and then we can forget about it and move on.

As much as I want the season to be over, I can't imagine it being a nice feeling watching 30,000 people celebrating promotion while we wonder what might have been. Still not made my mind up on this. Can't really justify the expense... however...
