I see tickets go on sale on Monday, to season ticket holders only. We've been given 1778 initially and another 800 if we need them. Anybody going to our last hurrah?
6 of us going to make a weekend of it.

Daft as it seems, I could see us selling the full allocation of 2578 out. Me `n` Mrs YB staying at Matlock for a long weekend, handy for Derby, might even get a hillwalk in the Peak District.

I agree Yorkie, I can see us selling out. I'll be going. Never know when we'll next play at this level again. Hopefully soon but there aren't any guarantees.

This was the one I was looking forward to when the fixtures got released. Meant putting 2 days holiday in at work but was happy to, unfortunately just can't justify it now. Was also intending on Charlton & Shrewsbury which I also sacked off. Got to say as much as the drop in standard of football, away days is the biggest disappointment for me about L2.

Yes apart from the football, I really enjoyed the trips to Oxford, Portsmouth and Exeter. Crawley, Newport and Swindon don't have the same appeal.

I'm going too. New stadium to tick off. Not sure we'll sell out, I know a few ST holders who aren't bothered about going due to our poor season.

Anyone who has never been or heard of it, check out Matlock Bath whilst in the area - picture a seaside town with arcades, food stalls and the likes only the sea is a big river and you are there.
Has a Gulliver's Kingdom there too that I took the kids to when they were young and they absolutely loved it.
Edited to add that thinking about it, seaside places are generally horrible run down places these days whereas MB is pretty small and quite posh therefore you get all the aesthetics of a seaside town but the place is really tidy and well kept, a lovely part of the country and a hidden gem.

Be very surprised if we sell the initial location, let alone the additional tickets. The kick-off time won’t help. Always seem to miss these last day visits to big clubs, missed Wolves and Norwich away on the last day aswell.

Booked for travel, I just have to get a match ticket and hope all the ST holders don't snap'em all up.

Great place is Matlock Bath. Heights of Abraham is well worth going up - it's a cable car and you will need a head for heights as it stops for a while over the road so you can take pictures! Weekends are interesting in MB due to the hundreds of bikers who invade the place - all very peaceful.

Lot of messing about going on here
They are clearly hoping we dont sell the initial allocation then they can move the netting at both sides and sell the extra 1300 tickets to their own fans.
However i cant see that happening and well sell both allocations easily and will be interesting then whether we get the 500 outstanding tickets to take us up to the usual 3100 away allocation or have they already moved the netting to give them the outstanding 500 tickets and already sold them to their own fans.

Was planning on going, but yesterday's performance has left me unsure. I might give it a miss, new ground or not. This season just needs to get in the bin now.
