I hope Derby have to win and we turn them over! No chance that's happening with Simpson as our Boss. He'd play the first year youth team lads.

1400 away, for a team far away at the bottom of the division, relegated, season over, and are playing like dog mess. That is phenomenal ! In the interview on youtube earlier, Tom said about the amazing support, and the queue for Derby tickets. The potential is here, if only we could improve the coaching/recruitment/scouting side, to take us forward. That said, I hope we lose 5-4, and Derby have a promotion party, with our fans joining in. That said, I hope we WIN 5-4, and Derby have a promotion party, with our fans joining in. Just thought I'd fix that for ya!!! Why would you want to join in another side’s promotion party when you’ve been relegated???

Owen Moxon will get a League One winners medal then and two successive promotions - Premier League next season at this rate.
Was going to post this on the Owen Moxon thread for obvious reasons but it has been locked.

I'll not be celebrating Derby's promotion, though I've caved in and decided to attend. Derby County winning promotion is not something I care about, with all due respect to them!

I’d love to see us win and Derby miss out on automatic.

Unless it`s a team we have bad history with, then seeing them get promoted, even during such an awful season for us, is something I`d be happy for them if it happened. Derby have been down in L1 a while now, and if they go up, they`ll have earnt it, and their fans will be ecstatic after the match.
Which means they`re less likely to want to beat any of us up, and any of ours who are in Derby afterwards, would probably have a great time enjoying the celebrations with them, into the night, and might not even have to pay for drinks !
I like this side of football, when 2 sets of fans can come together, and just enjoy the game, and those special moments.

I really can't understand why people feel bitterness towards another club simply because they've done well and have got promoted? I met a few Derby fans in 'Spoons' before our home clash with them earlier this season, and they were as sound as a pound, even taking the 'Mickey' out of a mate of mine because he is Scottish (nowt wrong with that, is there ??) If we had some sort of rivalry with them then fair enough, but ............'DERBY COUNTY!!!!!!!!', they couldn't even beat us when they won the 1st Div (Premier League) title all those years ago. Anyway, we're stopping in Derby over the weekend, so looking forward to sinking a few pints with them afterwards. COYB

Hope you have a great weekend bluebry, enjoying the Derby promotion party !
I don`t think I`d mind any team going up, by beating us, if it didn`t affect our own league ambitions.
Except Leeds, of course. I`ll forever enjoy seeing them fail.

I don’t feel any bitterness towards Derby. I simply don’t feel anything towards them. They’re just another football club, albeit one with a rich history.

What have Carlisle fans got to celebrate and who cares about Derby! I hope we beat them and they miss out on the automatic. Have you all forgotten them stealing Mark Patterson off us in 1987 for £50k. Some of you have short memories.

Bstand jnr, now going, kind of regretting not now. Looking like it's going to be a cracking turnout. Wonder what our record total away attendance for a season is, can't imagine there would be many if any that beats this one?

So are you happy Carlisle have been relegated or happy Derby are being promoted? I’m not miserable but I’ve no wish to join in someone else’s promotion party! Strange behaviour in all honesty.

I didn`t even know about it, as I only started following Carlisle that year ! Let it go nobby, and be happy for another team with the chance to get where they feel they belong ! It will be us starting from next year, and I hope we can clinch promotion, or a title at home, and have the away fans party with us ! Unless it`s against salford, they can get the **** out of the town as soon as the final whistle goes.
