What was it they wanted to do to the WRE? Was it removing the peaks and making it a sloped roof so to speak? Think their initial focus is on the bogs and the 'concessions' (catering arrangements) - but they've spoke about the acoustics too. Not sure how plausible a new roof is, but it would work wonders for the efforts of the WRE crowd in terms of generating an atmosphere. Ah they haven't actually said anything then, I had read about the acoustics but then thought I'd missed the rest somehow. They'll maybe fit some turret guns to take out he little ***** at the same time

Does anyone else think this quote drops a hint our transfer incomings are finished this window? Maybe I'm just reading it wrong. "We are definitely hands on but this is our first time and we don't have the knowledge and expertise that Paul [Simpson - manager] and the staff have," Piatak added. "We're definitely leaning on Paul. There are some exciting things in the works, the four players we have got are going to help us go to where we want to go." It suggests there is no chance they'll be sacking him anytime soon though, the other is open to interpretation with the wording, it is factual at worst. Vote of confidence?

Doubt that, though if we struggle again next year then it would be a bigger posibility and maybe the move upstairs to DOF would happen, hopefully, we will be back on form next season, which ever division we end up in.

I'm hoping we can get back on form this season, not next.

The difference between the Piataks and the three dinosaurs is hard to exaggerate. We all knew that the latter were poor, verging on useless, but the comparison makes it crystal.

Though not the best example as it hasn't worked at all. Barry Fry did all sorts at Peterboro If they made Simmo DOF and then hired a coach as opposed to a manager and they all worked together, would that square it up for you? Though, hopefully, he won't be getting sacked at all. though this is derailing the thread somewhat

Before people start saying he's a ***** facilitator, at the time Crewe where a very successful lower league team, particularly for producing players.
