Personally I thought we had some good spells of play this afternoon, and this was backed up from chatting to a few Derby lads at the station and on the train, but the general feeling was we looked decent at times in midfield but a bit lacking up front. Lavelle gave us the odd exciting moment in defence.

On a more positive note, I've been chatting to a few Derby fans tonight who were all very complimentary about the Blue Army. They were impressed with the numbers who came down and of the noise we made. I've no problem with Derby County. A proper football city and proper supporters. Good luck to them next year. Our supporters have put the team to shame this season. Outstanding Or have our supporters also had a hand in Mary Poppins keeping his job because they've been too afraid to voice their thoughts at games?

Many of those supporters are still in the manger's corner. Frank is right - the support has been outstanding. First 8k home average in my lifetime, and it's a hell of an achievement to average over 1k away from home despite finishing so hopelessly adrift at the bottom of the table.

Could you imagine how good the crowds could have been if we had managed to survive? Bstand jnr was losing a bit of interest in all honesty over the last few games, which is totally understandable at 14 considering the shite on show. He's absolutely loved his trip today, came home bouncing and can't wait for next season to hopefully replace the "scenes" today. This club does have fantastic potential, proved by the numbers who have stuck by a terrible team. So important that next season starts well and if it doesn't action is taken quickly which I believe it will.

Just seen the highlights
Derby first goal started from a foul throw from their number 6
But in heavens name Harry Lewis how does he let that in I’m sure Holy would have at least got something on that
See a good chance our back up keeper last season Michael Kelly will be playing in League 1 next season he’s first choice at MK Dons
Their second goal school boy defending again no challenge to the knock down looks like powder puff Lavelle again
Watching it again Yep Lavelle didn’t stand his ground totally out muscled
We need defenders who can defend and not be pushed about
How is it ok for other clubs to have pitch invasions but not Carlisle United?

What went on at the end was a complete and utter shambles I wouldnt like to see what the bill was yesterday for stewards who spent the whole game crouching behind the advertising hordings and then went onto the pitch holding hands supposedly youd imagine to protect us as the copper i.d been talking to all game said from what he saw we looked quite capable of protecting ourselves and the pink bib brigade would have run for their lives. The segregation and Stewarding was completely over the top and maybe if Derby have a look at how some other clubs in the championship do it [ have a look at Hull yesterday segregation was non existant ] they.ll have another thousand seats to sell. The space and lack of facilities in that corner was ridiculous surely the better option would be just to move the away area to the other side of the south stand where they could raise or lower the away capacity just by moving a single netting

Thought this game was today, and checked in here just after 2pm yesterday, to read it was pretty much over, and found something else to do.
If I could have made the same mistake, 40+ more times this season, I might have a few less grey hairs, and not drank as much.
Now for some good news tomorrow morning, unlikely, but I`m still hoping, and the offseason will be a lot more interesting.

As for transformations - Doncaster’s will take some beating.

Was hoping for an update after my nightmare Couldn’t get in the harvester but we went to the travelodge and had a good cheap breakfast. Talked to quite a few Derby supporters surprised we sold as many tickets considering where we are.

I was the safe standing bit, I can’t stand the whole game my legs go numb but the railings were really good and can lean on them.
Wasn’t in great favour of safe standing but changed my mind.

Probably one of the best atmospheres for a game of football that I've ever been at, the Derby fans when they did that 'jumping up and down' thing were phenomenal. Also our fans were once again absolutely superb, and despite us going behind so early on kept with the lads all afternoon. Also good to hear, very few (if any) negative comments towards Simmo. The whole weekend was topped off when we were in the local Weatherspoon's (The Standing Order) on the Friday evening to see no less than the whole Piatak family come into the pub, where they were happy to chat to us for around 15mins. Really friendly and were more than happy to answer all the questions we asked. Absolute stars the lot of them! and completely different from the opinions of certain keyboard warriors that dwell in pig sty's. I'm more convinced than ever we have the right people at the helm of our club COYB
