We need to immediately defer plans for ground "improvements" and the "training complex" and concentrate on fixing the football team as a priority instead.
All funding should be used to pay up contracts of players and management and to provide a (new) competent football management and coaching team resources to build a new side.
If we carry on blindly regardless like we are under the Piataks the club will die.

I would like to see the whole management team let go. Bring in a new management team, let them evaluate the squad and strengthen accordingly. I would take being a football league team come the end of next season. Simmo could get us out of the league, problem is, it would down to the conference. How he has the brass neck to still be here shows how deluded he is.

Delaying improvements to facilities would be one of the most backwards things I can imagine. We can improve both facilities and the playing side, and we need to improve both.

Backwards?
Backwards is keeping in making the same mistakes and giving priority to everything else apart from what happens on the football field.
Concentrate on the most important thing first (first) and the peripherals will take care of themselves.
Nothing should come before the football. This is why we continue to fail.

Why can't they concentrate on 2 things?

Simpler just to give Greg and Simmo a pistol each with just a couple of bullets and hope they do the right thing! Clearly a metaphor before I get castigated

Simpson getting the excuses in for next season's failures already on RC, saying the club will only have a mid table budget.

Off the pitch stuff needs to happen, we`ve been falling behind for years, so let this continue, even if it means a lower transfer budget.
And paying up so many players, including those on 3 year contracts, would be silly when there is a more obvious way to address this, and that would be to bring in a new manager, to hopefully get the best out of them, and if not, then we part ways.
The only urgent action required, will hopefully be the Monday after the Derby game, when they`re looking for a new man in charge.
Ever since the transfer window, we`ve all been waiting for this team to gel, and show us something, and week after week, there is nothing to get excited about, and we thankfully have only one game left, in this absolute sh*tshow of a season.
There is a rather large Elephant in the room, that the Piatak`s have ignored for months, and despite it smashing up the place and not learning anything, it appears it`s going to be kept on, for some more wreckage going forward.

Yeah let's just stop the development and carry on running the club and do training in the dark ages as that is definitely not the reason we have struggled as a club for eons. 🙄 Why don't you just beg Jenkins, Nixon and Pattinson to take over again?

"Mid table budget" in Division Four next season, according to Mary Poppins.
With the funding we're spunking away on executive boxes and at the Sheepmount we could turn that into a "Top table budget".
That's it.
Under the Piataks the football does not come first, they are the reason the club is failing.

That's it. Under the Piataks the football does not come first, they are the reason the club is failing. So spend all available cash on players? What happens if we don't get promoted? Would it not be better to increase revenue to fund an increased player budget than spunk the Piataks cash?
